Special “Light of Life” Ceremony
Whitewater Express rafters will have rafts with special candle like lights bearing the name in honor of someone who is a survivor, currently battling cancer or in memory of someone who has lost their battle with cancer, will be at the Paint The Town Pink event Friday, October 4th The Ceremony is very emotional as rafts bearing the names of loved ones touched by cancer are lit up underneath Dillingham Bridge. Think about the triathlon for everyone.

Dress your favorite Pooch in pink and enter the Prettiest Pink Pooch Pageant. Prizes will be given in 7 categories for the most talented and pinkest pooch. Categories are: Miss & Mr. Congeniality, Best Smile, Most Fashionable,
Most Sassiest Pants, Best Use of Pink, Most Confidence, and Mr. & Miss Pink Pooch- Male & Female under 15lbs & Male and Female over 15lbs. Be sure you and your pooch WEAR PINK and have your pooch’s talent or trick ready to perform!

Make Paint The Town Pink Flash Night even MORE FUN by running with a TEAM! Gather your friends, coworkers, church group, neighbors, or fun people you know!
*Create your own team name
* Must be a minimum of 4 members (no maximums) on each triathlon team.
* Enjoy a $5 discount off each members registration fee
* Can start, run and finish as a group, or spread apart, it doesn’t matter to us!
* No “relay” component during the event, just join or start a team, and enjoy the event together!
*Prizes awarded for teams and individuals raising the most money for the charity -West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition.
How to start and join a team for running, biking and swimming in the race:
First, the Team Captain must register as normal. During the registration process, they can choose the option to start a team. They can then choose to go ahead and pay for all the team members themselves, or pay only for their own registration. The remaining team members will then be able to register and choose to join the team, and then pay for themselves. The Team Captain may also choose to set a password for their team. Additional team members will need to input the password in order to join that specific team.
Pricing is per team member (not per team)
Team registration does not guarantee a held spot or price. Registration can still close before the remaining team members have signed up, and they will miss out! Please encourage them to sign up immediately once you created the team.
Make sure you inform your team members EXACTLY how you spelled the team name for your jerseys and when you cross the finish line. This will keep down confusion on team members who are unsure and prevent them from signing up for the wrong team and not getting their place on the podium for the triathlon donations.
